Drop By, Plug In and Get Inspired.

We founded CANOPY in the belief that reaching your professional potential is based on where and how you work. For us, it’s who you work next to, not who you work for, that matters most. CANOPY spaces are about working intelligently, in an environment that’s specially designed to make you more productive, and more creative. That’s why we set about creating a whole new class of workspaces constructed and concieved as places of inspiration, efficiency, and delight — integrating ergonomic furniture with valued amenities in an intimate neighborhood setting.

Our Mission

We never liked traditional offices, so when the ‘co-working’ revolution came along and spawned yet more dreary and dispiriting places, we knew we could do better. Why couldn’t we design a more sophisticated environment that enriches and inspires? Foster a real community of interesting and likeable people? Create a place that doesn’t feel like an office, so working there doesn’t feel like work?

We know you need to get work done so CANOPY makes it as easy as possible. With quiet, comfortable, stylish spaces to improve your productivity, a host of different membership packages to suit your needs, concierge-style services and amenities to lighten the load, and a fantastic events program to broaden both your mind and your network, we do things differently.

Our partners & providers

We’ve collaborated with some of our favorite lifestyle brands to build an enriching workspace environment, even curating our furnishings and provisions to stimulate productivity. From a kitchen stocked with Blue Bottle Coffee and Pique Tea, to ergonomic Herman Miller desks and chairs, soothing Flos lighting to botanical Aesop skincare, it’s all been carefully assembled to ensure your workday flows seamlessly.

Blueprint For Work Nirvana

CANOPY, the brainchild of Amir Mortazavi (of design and build firm M-PROJECTS) and celebrated design visionary, Yves Behar, was always conceived as an ecosystem rather than an office: an elevated place where people, ideas, and culture converge. Dynamic floor plans, where private and open spaces are fluidly harmonized together to encourage focus, boost contemplation, and empower collaboration. Specially engineered habitats for creativity, combining the very latest in contemporary ergonomic furniture design by Herman Miller with sleek, stylish accent pieces.

Neighborhood Matters.

Working here means you’re not just a CANOPY member, but part of the greater Fillmore Street community. We chose Pacific Heights to open CANOPY’s first location because its timeless style and innovative panache resonates with our own ethos to embrace a quality work-life balance. Our neighbors together bring the area to life – the walkable streets are lined with independent boutiques, lively cafes, gastronomic restaurants, and tranquil parks. Being plugged into that community is essential.

We take the time to get to know our neighbors, and we’ve found that behind every curated storefront we admire is a business owner with a compelling story. Amanda Michael is a perfect example of that: One of many entrepreneurs on Fillmore Street, she brings the neighborhood together over her house-made pastries and hand-pulled espressos. Get to know her and the goodness behind Jane—one of the best neighboring spots.
